When will the people responsible for the functioning of this app finally take action to get it fixed!? Very disappointing for an organization of this (supposedly) caliber!

This app used to work decent but ever since the update the app wont even load and the one time it actually opens the stories wont load!

Thankfully I can check other Houston news outlets when you use poor judgement.

There are way too many ads and very little content.

Terrible app crashes all the time, too many ads. I deleted it and went for KHOU TV much better. When 13 worked it was nice but very rare!!!!!!!! Does not deserve the one star I gave it.

As large as Houston is, as diversified, and as cosmopolitan, this App contains very little useful news about the city, the county, or the state. It seems as if this station is "going along to get along". The news stories lack depth and hang around way too long taking up space for possible news with impact. The is App is going to the "cloud" where it belongs. For supposedly being a professional news outlet, in the 4th largest city in the United States, I have read better Mom and Pop county web sites.

UPDATE 092915: Got a $1 ad blocker usable in IOS 9 and am so happy I wet my pants. Web site using Safari I can open multiple stories and no, I dare shout NO, annoying red banners or ads. Yippee! Die a painful death, ABC13 app, DIE and take your tacky and cheesy ads with you. Old Review... Annoying red zipper feed at top sometimes that cant be dismissed. I wont hang around for 15-30 secs of ad before video loads. Too many things wizzing around on page that really gets irritating.

Woke up this AM to check my ABC13 app and weather to find the app totally taken over by an Orange Crush drink ad! Is this someones sick idea of a joke? After the Astros (nicknamed the Orange Crush in Houston) senseless and embarrassing loss to the KC Royals yesterday did some hackers take over the ABC13 app? I now get nothing but a solid page of Orange Crush (the drink) advertising. Sick and stupid.

Seems like Im being notified for every little thing. It becomes a bit annoying.

Buggy. Crashes. Pages jump all over the place.

Im about to delete this app. Every time you open a news story, the App Store opens for you to buy an app like Candy Crush. Takes those annoying ads to a whole new level!

When it works, it’s fine. But more often than not, I’ll get a notification, click open and the story isn’t even on the summary page. I can pull down to update and still not there. And there’s no way to search within the app to find a particular story. Very irritating.

This channel is always pushing this app but whoever wrote this app still needs a lot of training to make work right. The picture/video is not in sync with the stories headlines. And also annoying is too many ads. Too hard up for ad dollars! Crappy, one word.

Sometimes it gets real old having to reload this app because it freezes slot.

No, I do not want you to send me push notifications. No, you cannot have access to my location to send me "local news". You are a Houston news outlet. That should be local enough. After that, tried to open it twice and it crashed twice. Goodbye.

Deleted after a week. Seems that everything is breaking news and push notifications got to the point of ridiculous.

Im certainly no writing or grammar expert, but the stories on this app are in desperate need of editing. The news stories are almost difficult to read sometimes. Misspellings, and poor writing, the norm. Id be embarrassed turning in this stuff to a supervisor.

I like getting a written out, detailed forecast. But its not worth all the negatives. Slow and sloppy. Then to top it off I got directed to App Store for a game 3 times in 90 seconds.
