ABC13 Houston News & Weather App Bewertungen

I have an iPhone 14 and I have this app set up to send me notifications. Any time I click on a notification for a story I want to read, I am sent to the home page of the app but never to the exact story, which I then have to search for. Other apps send me to the exact story and it is frustrating that yours does not. Please fix.

Every time I receive a notification for a story and click to see the story, it takes me to the home page and the news story I received the notification on is nowhere to be found. What’s the point of sharing a story I will never see or can’t find.

Every time I get a notification about an updated story I click on it that seems very interesting and it does not go to that story. Very disappointing.

Channel 13 does a decent job reporting local news but the biased opinions of the station’s governing agency is always apparent when addressing President Trump. Shame on you!!!

Should be much more update on local news that matters. Any headline more than 12 hrs old is no longer news. You need to step it up.

Too much non breaking news notifications

Works great reading three or four articles. Then it freezes up, and the whole phone is useless. Several minutes later, I can minimize the app and kill it. Don't get me wrong, reading the news from KTRK is a highlight of my morning. But I can't do it any longer.

This is my number 1 app to keep abreast of the most updated news and events locally, Statewide and Nationally. It’s easy to manage and maneuver

Hardly news. It’s so far left.

I can’t open the article I want to, everytime I click on one, it takes me to another article and I can’t read the one I want to. Update the app!!

I get notifications from ABC13 on a regular basis. 99% of the time, when I click on the notification and the APP opens, there is nothing there about what the notification was about…

Your app is as broken as your news reporting. Photos and videos don’t load on my iPad or iPhone. My internet speed at home is 1GB. It’s been this way for many months over many updates. I’m fairly certain you don’t care.

Article links are not linked to correct news topic. For example when I click on “Man shot killed in front of pregnant wife in SE Houston” it directs views to “Officials in Nassau Bay to pull occupancy permits for apartment’s dangerous black mold.” This issue occurs quite often.

90% of the app seems like it’s about the weather over and over and over and over. It’s never what they say will be so I don’t understand why they HAR it so many times even on the 30 minutes of newscast it’s weather five minutes something else five minutes something else weather I mean how much weather do we need? Everybody has the app if we want to get the weather it’s over kill some more sports sports lovers too you know. That seems poor. I don’t know why, but it doesn’t seem like it.

Whenever I open my app up, I’m always getting some news video playing automatically is if I want to hear it when I just want to see what’s going on in the world not here someone talking especially Donald Trump or anyone else from the Republican national convention and it seems that you are being because all you do is talk about them and talk about them and talk about them and I’m tired of that

It’s not a good user experience when very specific notifications to the phone screen only open the app when clicked. The expectation for notifications is that they open a target page directly related to the notification so the user doesn’t have to hunt around in the app for the information that brought them to it. Otherwise, app is great!

Can not contact news department. Why only mention Center Point Power Company? There is Entergy in The Woodlands and Kingwood. I live in Kingwood and storm hit hard here. Neighbors roof damaged. Trees down everywhere. Across North Park. Ask Entergy when power restored!!!

When I click on a News article, I’m coming into the app to read that article. I’m not coming into the app to be inundated by whatever live coverage you have going on at the time. The option to turn off auto play doesn’t even work. It’s so obnoxious that I deleted the entire app.

Every time I get a news alert I want to see more of, I click on the alert. The alert never directs me to the story, it always just sends me to some random place on the app.

This has been the worst web redesign ever. The layout is awful in that the user can only visualize a single story pane at a time. It is slow and useless.

This app constantly freezes & crashes on iPhone. Also the font is TOO BIG with no in-app way to adjust. Content informative but presentation is a mess.

I check my phone before i turn on my TV,when news breaks I’m the first to inform my coworkers. Thanks 👁 witness news

Just to compliment Erica on a great comeback after giving birth to her son. She is so professional and always dresses professional , Like the other news , weather and sports reporters ABC is tops.

When I open your app, it says update to new terms, but it does not allow you to confirm. Great job geniuses.

I liked old version better, it was simpler and more new interesting stories. The new version doesn’t have pictures just colored squares with titles of stories and they don’t add new stories on a daily basis. I have to wait two or three days to read something new. Houston is a pretty big city to have same stories repeated over and over for a couple of days. Please return to the old setup.

It’s just garbage

Don’t like this new updated version what so ever. Not user friendly. Can not watch the article while reading it anymore. Can not customize what part of the city I want to focus on.

Deleting. Shows pix of white and latino suspects and their names but seldom pix of blacks or their names when news of crimes committed. Fake news.

Radar hardly works. Locks up on quiet a few stories. For the day. Not good

This is the ONLY news app that does not have the capability to swipe to proceed to the next article! And when you use the arrow, it jumps back to the beginning instead the last feed. News articles disorganized!! BACK TO FOX26 HOUSTON!! ZERO STARS

The app is not working at all. Tried to report this and that option is not even listed

The app no longer works. All I get is a blue screen ever since updating my iOS to the latest version. I think the app needs an update

I would like to swipe left to read a new story instead of having to scroll to the end of the story.

The app is freezing and the weather is not refreshing.

I’ve been trying to watch the Game of the Week on ROKU and can not get it. I have ROKU and have downloaded the ABC13 app but there is no game. I tried on Apple TV and can not even find the ABC13 Houston app. I GIVE UP!!!🤬🤬

App won't load. It just shows a blue screen with a logo. Also, when listening to a news video story, I sometimes like to scroll through the written article, however doing so stops the video. When you scroll back up, it does not allow you to restart the news video. Instead, it launches a commercial.

I have been using and 13 Houston for year's, a few months ago I switch to I phone, now every few days the program locks up and won't do anything, so I delete, and reload, but the problem continues. Can you give me any reason? ……….just saying

This app has gradually went south. They show the same news reports for days. There is no longer a live weather update as well. Not worth the data.

The updated app (whenever that was done) may show a new story, but then goes into repetitive mode and you have to scroll past all the repeats to read any updates (and often there is none) and then you “press back” to go to next story and it goes right back to the continuous repetitive top of “news”. Not good and aggravating.

RADAR is too small. Old version landscape was larger and you could see it better. This version the map stays small when you turn your phone.

Why did you all go and make these stupid changes that has it crashing all the time now, if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it!! Freezing up all the time and ford. It boot up at all at times!!!!!

Just got done watching a video and the app starting lagging, when scrolling up or down it took some time to respond and then backed out to the homepage and then it froze and it also causes my phone to lag when it’s in the background until I clear it, I’ve had this app for awhile now and I enjoy using it for my local news, Please fix this issue
